I’m a bit of a Sia fan, but have only recently come across the filmclip for her song Buttons. I’m sure many of you are familiar with Sia’s music (her track Breathe Me featured in the final episode of Six Feet Under, which was kind of a big deal). Maybe you’ve been lucky enough to stumble upon some of her crazier interwebs video contributions.
Anyway, onto filmclips! Clem’s recent post about the Katy Perry I Kissed A Girl phenomenon included this juicy description (from the Gaurdian) of Perry’s video:
In the first 20 seconds, there are two clips of a scantily clad bottom, a camera panning up Perry’s legs on a bed, a sneaky peek at her cleavage, and a shot of her lily-white hand covering her crotch.
I thought our lovely readers might like to be reminded that a really great pop song doesn’t have to have a video full of T&A.
The video won’t embed, so just click the image or here to get to the filmclip.
As one youTube comment so succinctly puts it - Really brave, difficult statement – and cool to see somebody NOT obsessed with looking beautiful.
Agreed! You rock, Sia!
